It's an interesting position to be in. Mikey deserves all the props for daring to be great and has free reign to run his mouth for 3 months. Having said that, his resume quality isn't much better than Crawford, and the whole world knows he's the one who's staying away from Loma. Either because he doesn't want to fight TR fighters or because he thinks the fight is too dangerous, IDGAF.

I do tend to lose respect for boxers when they straight up lie. If he keeps saying dumb stuff like this, I'm gonna start hoping that Spence pushes his teeth in, instead of rooting for the underdog.

Mikey avoided Gamboa. Garcia's best win in a long career is Broner a guy who got embarrassed by a journeyman Maidana and basically quit in his fight with Shawn Porter.

Go do your research. Look up interviews of Mickey and Gamboa then come back and answer that question again. Gamboa fought at 135 before he fought Crawford and afterward. You didn't reply to my criticism of Mikey's best win because you know what I said is true. Mikey has been cherry picking his whole career. You mention Gamboa stunning Crawford in a round Gamboa didn't even win but Mikey got dropped by Rocky a mediocre fighter who cant even punch.

Just more lies coming from Mikey as usual, like when he said he was a small guy going up to 140 to challenge the bigger champion, Lipinets. Someone from Mikey's own camp who saw both he and Lipinets up close admitted Mikey was way bigger.

Just like no one was doubting Mikey vs Zlaticinin. Didn't he just lose to someone no one has ever heard of? Yeah he just got knocked out in 2 rounds by Roberto Ramirez lol. And no one was picking Broner or Easter over Mikey. I mean yeah, a couple people always pick the underdog, especially when it's a black American fighter because they have tons of biased fans, but neither of them are top guys either.

So Mikey keeps overinflating his resume and lying. Loma was supposed to come back and fight him after shoulder surgery? Loma offered to fight Mikey the second fight back after injury, early next year. He would not have had to wait any more than he had to wait to fight Spence. Remember Mikey said he wanted to fight late 2018? What happened Mikey? I thought you were your own boss? Instead you have to wait until March. But somehow it's cool when Al Haymon makes you wait for no reason, but not when Loma has to wait just 3 or 4 months for a legitimate reason, to get back from shoulder surgery.

This is the reason a lot of people don't like Mikey. Anyway, now Mikey vs Loma will never happen, thanks to Mikey, so he's going to have to be content with that decision going on his legacy, and I guess it is. Mikey ducked an opportunity to take the title of P4P King off Loma, and unify all four belts, in just one fight. I guess he didn't think he could win.

Loma NEVER gave ANY definitive timetable regarding fighting Mikey UNTIL he realized Mikey was in SERIOUS negotiations for the Spence fight.

I really don’t like the decision of him moving to 147 to fight Spence, but I gotta respect it.

But to answer your question, I can’t really understand y it matters who he fights after Spence. Mikey’s is challenging for the top spot, so if he falls short he’ll just end up falling somewhere in the lower ranks with guys like Porter, Garcia ect.

Or he may just go back to 135 to knock off Loma, either way he’ll still have very good options/entertaining fights.
