Lomo would never fight Berchelt, too dangerous. Maybe Crooked Bob could get him the rematch with Rigo.

mikey has reached his limit in terms of opponents. he cant keep fighting bums so it was either loma, crawford or spence so he went with the one that they can justify the most after the fight if they lose.
Please tell me you’re joking everyone knows that daddy bob won’t let Lomachenko or Crawford fight Mikey. So stop lying to yourself. As opponents go Garcia has fought better opposition than Loma. Loma hasn’t reached his limit in opposition because as long as there’s cans out there Daddy Bob will send them his way and you know it.

Bob would have no problem letting Crawford **** Mikey up.

Mikey Garcia is a phenomenal boxer, with all the tools to be an ATG. Will he beat Spence? Doubtful, but he has the balls to find out. I guarantee one thing, he will be credited for trying. If he beats Spence, it will be an amazing accomplishment. Danny Garcia, Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter should be embarrassed for running and hiding.
Thurman has no problem facing Spence, Its just that when a fighter is injured or hasn't been in the gym due to a looong layoff or personal problems, he just doesnt have that confidence factor to "call out" a threat (like Spence).....Fighters have admitted and demonstrated as much. Garcia is faaar to one-dimensional for Spence, so he aint callin' out jack! I agree with you on Porter, but he seems to be coming out of that shell. He's "talking" tough now about Spence "sporadically"...lol.

While Khan was fighting all these credible opponents Mikey was down at 126/130 being a weightbully fighting nobodies and avoiding Gamboa.
Maidana’s best win is also Broner... Algieri? Really? His best win is against a guy who’s claim to fame is losing... Khan hasn’t beat a top of the food chain guy in his entire career and has at no point ever been the top guy in his division, unlike Mikey “weight bullying”. No knock on L
            Khan, he’s a brave fighter...but a top 10 fighter he is not.

Anyway, Mikey telling it like it is and certain people are getting triggered as hell. The guys at 47 are all playing touch butt not fighting each other and it takes a 135 pounder to mix it up. How sad is that?

Props to Mikey for doing such a foolish move. I hope he proves me wrong..but it’s not looking good.

Does Mikey have a better resume than Bud? I dunno...similar I guess... but I don’t see bud jumping up to 160 trying to fight GGG or Canelo. Nor should he... but Bud has been in some trash fights for a bit now, a little too long. Spence is over here accepting 35 pounder challenges.

Loma is with TR and at least was candid when he said he wanted one fight after the surgery before Mikey. I dont think he is avoiding Mikey, but Mikey is right in that he cant sit around and wait before he even enters negotiations with someone he has a history with.

The 47 guys are good. Damn good...but they wont fight each other nor challenge themselves when it falls out.

It’s a shame when you see great fighters with the opportunity to demonstrate their greatness but refuse to

True indeed! I can only admire him more if he takes that uncharted course.....

So the talk stops a guy being a monster, hmmmm ok.

Mikey fighting, and if he beats Spence, that win will overshadow anything Loma and TC have done.

All 3 are great fighters I enjoy the 3 of them equally.

                  Love this guys BOSS-TALK.
Also love the fact he called out the Loma situation for what it was, ducking !
Previously, he’d kinda been giving Loma a pass, saying it was Bob who wouldn’t let Loma come out to play. But at the end of the day the fighter need to assert themselves and remind these promoters that they work for them.

But in this interview he’s assigning culpability to Loma, which I believe he fully deserves.

Mikey thinks it is better to lose to a bigger guy in Spence, than to lose to a small guy (Lomachenko). Loma is more skilled than him. Losing to Loma would ruin his legacy. Losing to Spence would not do that.

I just don't understand Mikey. Why is he afraid of fighting guys his his own size?
