There are still streams out there for DAZN & ESPN+. If anyone is missing fights cuz they didn't buy an app last year they just aren't applying themselves to looking for a stream.

Basically the problem for anyone charging you to watch something is if its watchable from your TV, computer or phone its streamable.

And if streaming "killed" PPV, which I disagree with cuz its not dead, why won't it kill this subscription based PPV model too?

Hopefully espn+ Follows this model and even if they raise the subscription price a little.
Oh yea no doubt DAZN & ESPN+ is more for your money. I mean its actually just the HBO & Showtime model converted to pure app form is what these products are & HBO (even when they weren't quite as good) & Showtime were always great values for boxing fans. Only difference is there aren't any non-sports perks like with premium channels.

I think Khan vs. Crawford will be REALLY good and I bet Khan wins some rounds.
Idk the khan we saw last fight gets ktfo inside 3 rounds

*** your PPV scumbag. How long is this guy living?

Only way I might pay for PPV is if it’s stacked Don King style in the 90s.

Oscar is a decent man compared to this cancer bob arum.

PPV isn't going anywhere. The platforms are to stage mismatches as usual with the occasional good match... the deprivation of great matches that we want will continue, it creates demand. Pay per view isn't going anywhere.

Similar model as weve always had in terms of in-ring competition, BUT the streaming movement creates competition for the big networks..which takes huge cut of the revenue and IMHO hurts the sport overall and has done so for years. That's why the PPV prices are bogus...Promoters want a return on their investment and high purses for their fighters, more difficult when the network takes half the revenue.

Boxing will always be a niche sport, so Arum is right. PPV will never die. Most people don't watch boxing on a regular basis, unlike other sports. Frustrating part is there's nothing to watch even if they want to. Networks simply can't provide boxing events on a weekly basis. Paying monthly subscription and only getting an average of one fight a month doesn't make any sense for most people. They need to find a way to reduce the cost and let people decide when to pay and watch without being forced to a monthly obligation.

Fans want to see good big fights (even if they have to pay for them) than sh** useless fights even for free.

Spence-Garcia? The best welterweight in the world against a top P4P fighter moving up for the challenge.

Crawford-Khan? Uh...well, at least Khan is a better opponent for Bud than Luis Collazo.
Exactly. If people have to choose one or even 2 of the 3, Top ranks is not getting picked. I'm buying the other 2 or at least chipping in for a fight party but who would even waste their time getting together for a Crawford-Khan fight? That's a sit at home alone and stream for free fight.
