Ya'll complain about how the top fighters don't fight each other now. If PPV dies ya'll really gonna complain 😂

I think Khan vs. Crawford will be REALLY good and I bet Khan wins some rounds.
Khan looked like ass in his last fight against Samuel Vargas. Crawford might start slow like he usually does but he is going to wipe the floor with him.

I never understood why the networks get 50%. Seems so high.

And the reality is like it or not is damn near EVERYTHING people wanna watch is PPV. Cuz first off I contend DAZN & ESPN+ are also PPV just a hybrid subscription service PPV type model.

And its not like regular old HBO or Showtime are or were free. People like to act like paying to view is just a one time event thing, but technically we all were paying to watch Boxing After Dark & Showtime Championship Boxing & everything else. It was just a better deal with more fights & some perks like Game of Thrones, The Sopranos & Ray Donavan.

And its the same with boxing on any basic cable channel that shows boxing. You are still paying for it.

The only thing you can argue is legit non-PPV boxing is any fights you are watching on Fox or any other basic channel & technically you can't even say that if you aren't watching it off of antenna technology lol.

Also wasn't Bob saying PPV is dead a long with Hearn a couple months back? F#cking Bob with his bs all the time.

Illegal Streaming killed PPV. I don’t think Canelo would have join DAZN if he believe he could make more doing PPVs.

It is. Thing is distributers were the only game in town for a long time. If you wanted to do a PPV you had to go through them. The viability & availability of streaming now cuts into the distrubors game & allows promoters to potentially negotiate better cuts for themselves.

And here in Mexico we're watching all the fights for free, no ppv nonsense since forever, just ads in between rounds.

This is why I’m kinda with Oscar and hope PPV dies as just goes to apps. I use to pay for at least 4 PPV fights a year, sometimes more. Its actually cheaper to get Dazn for the year than paying the 2 PPV canelo fights a year, and this way I get more boxing. Hopefully espn+ Follows this model and even if they raise the subscription price a little.

Yeah, but if memory serves me right, ppv fights are shown on like an hour delay.
