I actually quite like the Crawford-Khan matchup

I give Khan little chance of winning but I think he can be competitive for a couple of rounds. Khan always tends to cause problems for opponents in the first 4 or 5 rounds and then his lack of punch resistance is usually exposed. It’ll be interesting to see how Crawford deals with Khan IMO, will he have to be more aggressive? Is there a significant speed disadvantage? Will he potentially be down on the cards after 4 or 5 rounds?
If Crawford can completely dominate Khan from the first round, that’ll be pretty impressive IMO.

What are people’s thoughts on this matchup?

Interesting style match-up but ultimately there are a class apart. I see it being close and competitive through a few rounds but once Crawford has had a look and timed him he'll likely give him a bit of a beating or KO him quickly given Khan's chin. Khan's heart could mean we get to see a lot out of Crawford too.

I think I'll go to this fight. I have a flight to use, a free room and maybe even get a free ticket so makes a whole lot of sense.

I was just saying in another thread timing is the key. I see it unfolding pretty similar.

Should be a fun fight to go to, enjoy!

Here we go again. Khan fans giving him his partial credit during fights. “But he’s never been outboxed doe.” No he’s just been comatosed multiple times by lesser fighters.

Khan needs to come into this fight shredded. His conditioning can make the fight a lot more interesting but Crawford can win the fight with one punch regardless. Khan can't come in the shape he was vs. Samuel Vargas. Khan can't approach the fight by blitzing Crawford either, he needs to hit and move.

**** fight. This isn't even the best version of Khan. He had a solid run at 140, but he fell too in love with his hand speed. I can't recall the last time Khan sat down on a punch....he might've forgotten how to. And once his stamina starts to fade (about round 4 nowadays), his hand speed dwindles and those pity pat shots become even more apparent. And those pity pat shots aren't going to do **** unless TC is packing glass. Did you see Khan vs Vargas? He looked awful.

If Khan hits and moves, he should be able to frustrate Bud with his speed. Bud does not hit as hard as Canelo but he should still win by UD or late stoppage in this fight though.

I like Khan and wish him well but there is no way I can watch it.

I love boxing but at this level if you are giving 1 guy no chance you’re actually doing the sport a disservice by supporting the fight.

It’s such a weird thing to target Khan at this point.
