Khan wants a shortcut to p4p status

It is probably why he wanted floyd

He didnt learn from the canelo lesson

This is gonna be first time khan gets clearly outboxed

Of course he gets stopped too

Brook fight will lose a little bit of luster after khan gets ko'ed.

Not a good career choice but khan is probably thinking the brook fight will always be there , but he is not factoring in the beating he will take. Crawford was clowning an olympic gold medalist in felix diaz. He is savage. He probably carried jeff horn too

Khan would rather take a loss against Crawford than fight Brook against whom he can still lose, but less likely than against Crawford.

Khan's fear of losing to Brook is so high that he's rather not fight him at all. Mind boggling decision. And unlike AJ-Wilder situation, where both parties accuse each other of ducking, it is crystal clear here who is ducking whom. Plus it is a really ****** financial decision, that would have been his biggest payday.

A 100% fit khan, not drawn into a slug fest beats Crawford

No question, hands down... this will be Khan's worst beating he's ever taken and he'll ever endure

Khan probably does have more appeal. I think Danny is better obviously, but paydays are never over simply who's better. Your appeal & drawing power matters & Khan has US, UK & other international fans.

People forget that Crawford is NOT and has never been a one-punch KO fighter. I don't care what you think about a chin.

Gamboa got put down because he was clumsy and "LACK OF FUNDAMENTALS!!!" (Teddy Atlas)

Horn got stopped, on his feet, questionable, walked out of there perfectly healthy. Mind you, he does have a rock chin, but still.

I see one of three outcomes.

                  1. Crawford's accumulation and accuracy earns him a late ref stoppage.
                  2. Khan lands plenty, like he did against Algieri, but none of them do anything and Crawford walks him down to a decision.
                  3. Khan overcomes the odds and lands the shot Gamboa did, but is fast enough to capitalize on it.

Smart money to me is on #2. Maybe Crawford pulls off #1, but if prime Maidana couldn't do it, I question whether Crawford can, frankly.

If Khan fiddles and runs he might be there for a few rounds BUT if he looks anything like last time out then it's a complete mismatch from start to finish. The truth is Khan shouldn't be in there at all.

I don't even mind that Khan isn't fighting Brook at this point, the time for that was years ago now. As for Khan - Crawford, well, at least Khan is fast enough to make things interesting early on until Crawford inevitably finds his distance and stops him. Khan's probably not the calibre of opponent he should be fighting at this point but in terms of what's available I guess he could do worse.
