I'm not talking about these guys becoming Canelo level. That's an anomaly. But if you have this big long term contract and there isn't an out in two years, then what is the worry? Build these youngsters and eventually they will become stars.
Going after the Garcia's and the Charlo's of the world is fine, but he didn't have a Plan B. He kept saying I am close to signing this fighter or that fighter or expect three world champions signed next week etc. Ended up making a fool of himself.
but thinking hes ready for porter and crawford that soon is really a stretch imo...i could totally be wrong but i just think its a stretch the way guys move prospects now...
i honestly dont know what the whole hearn/DAZN contract really is or what it entails.....im just guessing hearn wanted quicker results and figured trying to poach was faster/easier
a guy like ennis is still fighting 21 year old prospect level fights....and even if he fights 3-4 times this year the step up in competition wont likely be good enough for the seasoning you are gonna want before you put him in with a porter/crawford
all i was saying about canelo is that he is what you said..an anamoly....in that he had a huge push and a catapult from a superstar very early in his career......i didnt imply ennis or haney were/could/should reach that level...im just saying...take a look around...most names dont hit their "stride" as far as being a name until the age of 26 or older

i think hearn, at least in his own mind at the very least, feels pressure to start producing something now or relatively soon with DAZN....yeah haney and ennis have had some decent exposure already....but take a look at guys like jermall, spence and mikey....spence is like 28 and is just now rounding into a household name....mikey is 30 and is just now reaching the level hes at really...it could really be another 4 years or so before guys like haney and ennis really make a good name for themselves...and by "good name" i mean capable of sustaining viewership
canelo is a pretty rare breed in that he started very early and got a good push early...and had floyd to help him there...i dunno if those guys have that luxury and ability
I don't think pbc fighters are happy. They desperately want what canelo has, always mentioning canelo at every turn. You have these guys who are almost in their thirties who have no names on their resumes, no fortune made, no reputation... Once you hit thirty it's downhill, it's a rare breed that can compete in their thirties...
Allot of wasted time with them and it's understandable, pbc can't afford to pay these guys as much as they do very often when they always fight tomato cans..

and yeah the pbc guys are happy...or they would have jumped at the chance....you are far off base from reality...and ive seen your posts...you are the pbc/al type of hater i was talking about in my mikey thread
yes the floyd fight helped raise canelos profile whether you want to admit it or not...its factual...everyone knows it....even in a loss they said he was green and young and could learn from it...only a hater cant recognize that....dont even bother replying i can tell your type already

hahaha....you know jack **** about the fight game...you are literally the only guy in the world that thinks canelo wasnt helped by fighting on floyd undercards and floyd himself......
you think that in order to prove my point every guy that ever fought floyd has to become a mega star...lol...thats literally how dumb you are......yeah it takes a blend of star power on your own.....but floyd definitley catapulted canelo
not every guy that fought oscar became a billionaire like floyd either....but oscar catapulted floyd and everyone knows and admits it......because floyd had his own blend of star power and when you combined it with the oscar exposure it took offf.....same with canelo
but you are just a dumb hater that hates on anything floyd, al haymon or pbc.....talk about a first class twat and non boxing fan
