You know who is a big believer of this? Mayweather. His first training session often times start at 2 or 3 pm, and he has sparring at 9-11 PM while he gets in his run a few hours later. Now, he runs at midnight or even like 1 am, but the sparring happens the time he would be actually fighting on fight day.

yeah exactly. all other fighters wake up at 4am all dramatic before the sunrise and I'm like WHY? no one ever fights at 4am or even in the morning.

Floyd is right about this. Why confuse your body to be all active at the opposite time of the day of your fight?

On the other hand, GGG is older and what will a new coach offer? GGG is GGG, he's not going to change.
This I agree with. Dudes are crazy, Abel made GGG the killa he is. He helped a lot with the style GGG has now. It's too late in the game to change trainers, he 36 with a few more fights left. Ride this shlt till the wheels fall off.

            .
Which Mexican fighters would you say he shifted his style? That was a marketing gimmick by Tom Loeffler. You can’t change a genuine Kazakh style to Mexican style. That’s fake, and more importantly, every fight GGG has fought the same since 10 years ago. Most elites in general look great with their KOs starting off. It’s all about who you’ve fought.

That's my impression also. He's in over his head.

Theres a vid where Abel talks about this. He literally talks about transforming his fighting style. Marketing helped, but it happenened in training and manifested itself in the ring.

I know that video, and Abel is a liar is my point. Which Mexican fighters fight like GGG?

Loeffler has never seen his fighter as having leverage, even when they were cross promoting the guy was wayyy too diplomatic. I think the final straw was when Oscar was talking his shhh to the media and it took Golovkin himself getting mad and dropping some bombs to get shhh done that the fighter realized..if i'm doing the work might as well keep the money too.
