Ward has retired leave the man in peace the British fighters are obsessed in fighting Ward first Bellew and now Smith. Smith has got no big names other than Groves on his resume so the only place it would make money is in Liverpool not the States. Smith needs to be more realistic if he wants a big name fight target Canelo as his been willing to face British fighters his actually 5-0 against British fighters (Hatton, Rhodes, Khan, Liam Smith,Fielding) so I think he could be persuaded seeing as he moved up to Super Middle in his last fight.

The Ward call outs have all been respectable, I can't remember anyone saying he was ducking, a coward or even not the best fighter. He's probably got a lot more respect from the fight offers than he did from a lot of his fellow Americans when actually fighting.

If boxers want to offer retired boxers a boat load of cash to come back that's fine just don't saying they're ducking you when they don't take it.
