2nd fight all day. I thought GGG won the first fight clearly enough but the action was disappointing. The 2nd fight Canelo came right after GGG and the fight could have gone either way.

I actually preferred the first fight cuz of how smooth Canelo looked. Didn't love his inactivity at times & far too often which is what made the fight closer than it shoulda bern in my eyes, but he showed more high level boxing & elusiveness in that fight than any previous fight I feel like which I loved seeing. And GGG did GGG style unlike in the 2nd fight.

The best fight woulda been GGG from fight 1 vs Canelo from fight 2 doe.

2, theres was hardly pause in the action, in the first fight Canelo was kinda fighting like AB in spots shaking his head on the ropes, not letting his hands go and GGG was just jabbing on the ropes

the second one seemed like they picked up right where they left off.

I agree with most of this. For all the talk of canelo “beating ggg at his own game” in the 2nd fight, he really performed better in the first one...and like you say, inactivity cost him. I really thought he’d fight a similar fight the second time around and just move his hands a bit more. Instead he marched face first into jabs all night and tried to make it a fire fight. While he gave as good as he got for the most part, it’s not a style that suits him. I feel like on that night he coulda outboxed ggg cleanly, instead of arguably losing a close fight.

2 .... and that fight was a legitimate draw

Clenelo did not win. Clenelo clearly lost the 1st.

.... so GGG was robbed twice. The series is upside down.

I think all championship fights should have 5 judges. Then use the avg winner/loser/draw; round by round to decide the victor for each round. Total up the rounds after the fights over, and you have the winner.

This would be the best method.

If you use this method, and go back and look at ggg/Canelo 1, it shows GGG as the winner ACCORDING TO THE OFFICAL SCORECARDS.

If you use this method, and go back and look at ggg/Canelo 2, it shows the fight was a draw.

We all agree GGG WON the first fight, and I think the majority of people see the 2nd as a draw.

So, if you score by winner /loser of each round, you get a more accurate....honest representation of how the fight went.

first was canelo overestimating GGG, when he realised he could go toe to toe the 2nd fight was different.
