It's getting progressively harder and harder to take anything the Hearns say seriously regarding a Joshua/Wilder match up. If they truly want to fight Wilder, they will split the purse down the middle. Yes, AJ makes more money than any other HW fighting opponents who are not Wilder or Fury and yes, because of that he is the financial A side but come on, they are making millions upon millions. If they truly wanted the fight they would say how much they offered the Wilder camp, otherwise they are just trying to get fans on AJ's side by saying Wilder's camp won't respond and thus don't want the fight.
If Joshua is concerned about legacy and truly wants to prove he is undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, the Hearns need to come down off their high horse and make the proper concessions to make the fight happen. After Wilder/Fury, they are all top 3 in the division with little separation between the three top spots. Give Wilder the payday he is asking for and if Joshua wins, he can go back to demanding 60-70% of future fight purses.

I can only assume that Wilder will be making more for the lucrative Fury rematch on PPV than what the Hearns are offering.

They already low balled Deontay before.

If he didn’t make more than the flat fee they originally offered last time in the fury fight I seriously doubt he’ll make more than he would from this offer in the second.
