James DeGale believes the loser of his grudge match with Chris Eubank Jnr will have no choice but to retire. The long-term rivals will finally fight on February 23 at London's 02 Arena, when they will be under pressure to revive careers undermined partly by Callum Smith's recent success.

Man these guys always changin scripts. the last DeGale fight he was totally shot. Heck they both were shot. So he vacated to avoid facing uzcategui and have a safe, comfortable farewell fight.

This isn’t a do or die for anyone. DeGale is done. Uzcatwgui would dish out a humiliating beating. groves would wreck him. Stay with the original program.

DeFail should retire. Eubank Jr still has potential.

Eubank is definitely the fresher fighter & can "afford" to take a loss.
DeGale has been in a lot of tough, bruising fights. Groves, Truax, Medina, Dirrell, Jack.
I see Eubanks as a late bloomer. With his conditioning and chin, all he needs is some refinement. His dad put this false sense of invisibility in his head but the Groves loss humbled him in a good way.
DeGale, for all his talent, seems to have under trained for many fights and that has really taken a physical toll.
The Medina fight was a gift decision & he took a subtly brutal beating in that one. The Jack fight took the rest out of him.
I see Eubanks stopping & retiring DeGale early.
