I agree 100% man. McGreggor is a decent boxer. He fought Nate Diaz who is also a good boxer and sparring partner to Andre Ward at one time, and even gave Paulie a little trouble. He also trained a long time for Floyd, had multiple professional level sparring partners and hired Joe Cortez. Tenshin only trained a month and with that kind of preparation clearly underestimated Floyd and boxing in general and deserved to be blown away. He simply got overpowered and beat down and that is humiliating to any previously dominant combatant. Nobody had ever walked him down like that, crowded him and took him out. He underestimated an older, retired Floyd who barely trained for him.I don't think so. McGregor's unorthodox style took him some rounds to get used to. And McGregor is actually a skilled counter puncher, even for a MMA fighter. When they were fighting from the outside, McGregor with his length advantage was actually getting better of Floyd in moments. But once Floyd decided to use his high guard and walk McGregor down, it was over. McGregor couldn't handle the mental pressure and then Floyd just started to tee off on him late in the fight.
Maybe Floyd didn't take training serious or the actual fight serious, but McGregor legitimately had a solid performance everything considered.Comment

the mecgregor comparisons are ridiculous
mcgregor is the same size as floyd, and had more reach than him
tenshin fights 5 wgt classes below floyd and had nearly a 20cm reach disadvantage
floyd would also get wobbled by a crusierwgts punchComment

It wasn't even a particularly great performance from Floyd, any boxer who competes at a reasonable level and carries some power would have gotten the same results. The guy looked like he could move quite well and had fairly quick hands but he clearly had no power and his balance, defence and composure under fire were all atrocious. At the end of the day it's simply the kind of result you get when you pit a pro against an undersized novice. Anybody who spent money to watch that is a fool.Comment

I would have thought tenshin would have done better. Of course Floyd would beat me in under 2 minutes but you'd think tenshin, a training hard individual might have faired better.Comment
