Tenshin - Nothing to do with me being so bad, it was all about Mayweather being so great, so brilliant, so undefeatable, so venerable, so God like.

Tenshin took a huge step backwards by crying for 30 mins. He cried so much he had to be held-up and couldn't walk. That' embarrassing .

How on earth do you underestimate the best boxer of his generation?
Was it his age, thinking he's just an old man now?
Or maybe some of these MMA guys severely underestimate boxing? Take McGregor for instance, i know he had to sell the fight and talk how he would knock Floyd out etc etc. but there's no way he could have expected Floyd would be able to just walk forward with his hands up and beat him up, with no regard for what's coming back. It's quite funny really when you think about it. He give Conor every possible chance by just being flat footed and he still couldn't do anything.
There's no MMA fan that expected Floyd could do that to McGregor, they thought he'd be on his bike using skills and instead he just walked through him
I dunno, you wouldn't think they are underestimating boxing. Surely they have enough knowledge of combat sports to underestimate a guy when you go into their field.Last edited by EasternEuroFan; 01-01-2019, 07:45 PM.

Even McGregor's own coach doesn't realise Floyd carried him and didn't even bother throwing punches for a few rounds.
Imagine if Floyd started sinking in body shots from the first round.
He could've finished McGregor within 2 rounds if he really wanted.

Maybe Floyd didn't take training serious or the actual fight serious, but McGregor legitimately had a solid performance everything considered.

really strange and ****** comment by this kickboxer, why would you under estimate one of the most dominant boxers of the era who outweighed you, and fighting under his rules. The Japanese promoters who fed this kid's ego into believing he was nothing but a sacrificial lamb, really did an amazing job. Kid got embarrassed in front of the whole world, but I'm sure he got paid well.

Floyd carried mcgregor 100%. I saw him miss on purpose so many times. It was comedy to watch. i think anyone who has never boxed will be subject to think it's a lot easier than it is. And ppl who have done martial arts, will look at boxing from the outside, and think they can pick it up later in life and still be competitive with a boxer. This is far from the case. If boxing had a ranking system, Floyd is the equivalent of a 9th dan in skill and experience level.

Seeing him jump on the ropes was very strange lol
I don't know how Tenshin, his team or anyone in Japan could've concluded Mayweather wasnt all of that.....Mayweather was MADE for the lights, camera, action.... made for handling real "Tension" under the spotlight..lol ...One of the GREATEST ever!.....Tenshin and his clueless team must've been living under a huge rock!!
