Everything about this was an embarrassment. Floyd, you're a joke.

8-9 consecutive catchweights?
no, they manipulated weight
years back, I counted them..... one of those fights was not a catch-weight, but it was a weight manipulation..... I can't remember now, I will have to look it up..... which is why I used the term 'weight-affected'
I think it was nine consecutive fights
it always used to amuse me when pac supporters criticized Canelo for 155..... all Canelo did was give himself a 1lb advantage that may have benefited him more than it benefited his JMW opponent..... which is still lame, but not like manny-weight..... because Pac pulled the little guys up and dragged the big guys down with all of that 143-144 stuff.....

So did Hopkins also manipulate weight when he fought DLH, Pavlik, and Winky at catchweights? All fights that took place before Pacquiaos catchweights mind you.

Your statement is ridiculous.
they used to be called exhibition matches
they were mostly used by name-opponents who would normally never fight because of weight disparity
a few guys had 1 or 2 mostly at the end of their career
they were money fights
Pac camped right in-between JMW and WW..... pulling the little guys up and dragging the big guys down with all of that 143-144 stuff..... for about 8 or 9 consecutive fights
he made an art-form out of catch-weights, hence the (now) boxing term "manny-weight' LMAO..... which later evolved into "Canelo-weight"
and Cotto flatly justified his position of catch-weighting every middleweight opponent by saying that Pacquiao did it to him..... that is what he said
thanks Pac
I told everyone that manny-weight was a bad idea

weight manipulation is old-school tricks..... if you dig around you will see it happened plenty of times
and no, Hopkins had moved up at that point..... he couldn't make 160
Pavlik and Wright were both at 160, they went up for those fights
the weight in all of those fights was advantageous to Hopkins
again, not quite the same as camping in-between two divisions and pulling the little guys up and dragging the big guys down

9 Mil Is a lot of money , to him as well , more over when he is retired.
You don't see Federer doing the Nike commercial for free don't you ? he had a 7.5Mil contract , while his gross margin is almost 1 BILLION , so you as the poor fellow that you are can mock 9Million , but if its good enough for Roger (much more work to be a Nike figure) its good enough for Floyd for a 1 night of "work".
