He does spend alot of money.
Why else apart from the money do you think that Floyd took this fight then??
to answer your question= EGO...of course its pocket change...he profited 100 million+ paydays vs MP and Conor...doesn't he buy $15 million watches??...this event did not even pay him 1/10th of the money he has earned for those previous bouts...when you retire are you going to travel around the world to earn less then 1/10th of what you made in the past?? FMjr took this fight so he could be in the spotlight, so he would see his name on the espn ticker, on TMZ,...hard to believe AH advised him to go through with this mockery...did he thank AH in his post fight interview?...so sad to see him prance around after those KDs, like he just knocked out errol or something

This. If he was getting paid $50M, then the fight would be understandable. But $9M is **** money for a guy whose worth $1B. I wouldn't be surprised if blew the whole $9M on his holiday in Japan.

Doesn't he get a PPV cut though? Heard something like that but not sure if that was right or not

He’ll be great in his sport as he has loads of time and is a smart fighter!

Floyd was just in another dimension even an out of shape and past prime Floyd!
