Yeah the farce was bad enough, I am embarrassed by some on this site even further with their attempts to defend such a joke.

It was an exhibition. Had no bearing on anyone’s record. Was only really promoted in Japan. A retired boxer went to Japan and made a nice change. You get some boxers especially retired that demand crazy appearance fees just to talk to kids. Any and every boxer on this planet would have taken that opportunity. Spare a thought for individuals that work in McDonald’s that are not even privileged enough to take orders they have to stay in the back in the fridge and handle frozen fries for 10 hours

To be fair, this fight was against a guy at least two divisions smaller that had never boxed at any level, well worth being trolled for.
