I Love & Hate This Fight!!!!

Everytime I hear about Forrest vs Quartey I get hyped. These are 2 of my favorites and 2 of the most skilled fighters in the game. I love watching both of there styles. I cant wait to see this fight.

All that is the good stuff. The bad stuff is that they are fighting eachother. Who's letting this fight happened? How can you have 2 big names like them just on there comeback fighting eachother?

These 2 guys should be out there fighting the other big names and knocking them off until there the last 2 standing. You know Ike is a beast if he came straight back and beat a guy like Verno Phillips in just his 2nd fight back and thats when Verno was killing guys. I dont want to see them fight eachother. I would love to see either of them fight Spinks, Karmazin, Ouma, Margarito, and whoever. I would love to see Ike vs Mosley and Forrest vs Vargas. I would love to see Floyd fight either of them.

All those fights would be big. I remembe like 9 months ago, Forrest was saying that he still might move back down to 147 after a fight or 2.

This is a big time fight that I cant wait to see but definatly shouldnt be happening right now. The loser could be basicaly finished and it wouldnt be right because he lost to another very good fighter and he's still rusty right now.

With all that being said, who do you like in this fight? I keep going back and fourths on it but something just tells me that its meant for Forrest to win because how can he lose on his 1st fight back? It just wouldnt seem right. The perfect thing for me would be if it was a draw where they both looked good and they both move on after it.

You guys are crazy loco.Forrest has looked like crap in his comeback,Quartey has by far looked like the fresher fighter.

I guess he has a chance at neutralizing Quartey with his height/reach advantage,but i dont see it.

Forrest will win. When the two come together and trade blows, Vernon will prove to have the more grit and better chin on the inside. Quartey was almost stopped by Verno Phillips. Phillips is a good fighter, but he was never on Vernon's level and I believe firmly Vernon will come to make a statement in this fight.

quartey looked awful against bojorquez. forrest is a very accurate puncher and i think he will be able to outjab quartey and shoot his right hand over the top with considerable ease.

To DLT, I was in the same position when Toney and Rahman, my two favorite heavyweights, decided they wanted to fight each other. I was the ONLY person happy with a draw that night because neither of my boys had to lose. This fight has draw potential written all over it like Taylor-Wright did. We shall see.

Forest jab is over-rated i never thought he had a great jab, quarty throws it with more force and just as accurate if not better. I think Forest wins but i'll be rooting for Quartey.
