Mikey Garcia Looking Bigger Than Ever

His walking around weight is usually around 165, so no surprises here. All the bulking up in the world isn't going to help him take Spence's punches. Not only that, he is going to suffer from Roy Jones syndrome, trying to cut back down two weight classes after putting on muscle weight. He may never fight at 135 again and if he does, he won't be the same fighter.Comment

Duran settled that third fight with De Jesus then got out of that division where nobody was going to touch him anymore.
Didn't even bother fighting Cervantes at 140 . Not that Cervantes wanted any part of him anyway.
Mikey does not have Duran's soft neck and wrists though.
Freaking nobody then moved that head to his advantage and wrist-hooked small openings like Duran.
Too back those free-thumb gloves are gone.
The art of open glove and limp wrist punching is now a lost art . Everyone seems so tense with their wrists these days .Comment

I'd be really shocked if Mikey goes back below 140.His walking around weight is usually around 165, so no surprises here. at his age yes it is impossible get BIGGER muscles you can get cut but not bigger muscle. body stops producing the chemicals at 24 so you inject them. but he might be clean cause I heard he is taking flintstone vitamins to bulk upComment

yes at his age easy to put on as much muscle mass as one desires. with that logic everyone should be a HW. I will be back in a week I will put on 40 lbs of solid muscle to show you guysLooking good 10 weeks out, he gained a bit of muscle mass but not too much, now it's time to condition the heart and lungs to pump enough oxygen rich blood to those bigger muscles for 12 high intensity rounds. If he would've gained more lean muscle mass it would've made it harder on the lungs and heart but like this he looks fine. I like to see fighter gain weight at the right places though like on the shoulders and back, not necessarily on the arms since that just tires u out and limits your reach. We'll have to wait and see on fight night.
It might all come down to Mikey's durability, can he take the punishment as good as he's able to dish it out? can he avoid the punishment all together? will it be a combo of both like Ray Leonard vs Marvin Hagler? does he have enough dirty tricks up his sleeve to stall and steal rounds? I can't wait for that fight!Comment

you are full of sh it. the only thing got bigger was your waistline and ego--- I've always been a well developed male active in multi sports and strenuous activities.
In my early fifties I launched a 4 month weightlifting regimen on top of my other activities. My only "enhancement" was an additional portion of meat. I don't even take aspirin as far as drugs go, and in 4 Months I added 15% bodyweight, and pumped with my natural testosterone production, I had to consciously mitigate the aggression brought about by those changes.
Yeah, beggars belief of modern dainties not understanding the wide spectrum if male variability, but Mikey on a strict BALCO Vic VADA regimen, so anything goes in legalized PED use moderns need to be real men.
Sad that, but the new reality.Comment
