This mofo probably ain't going back down to lightweight anymore...that's too bad because Loma-Mikey was one of my dream fights. Still I'll be rooting for you to upset Spence even though the chance of that happening is Very slimComment

Looking good 10 weeks out, he gained a bit of muscle mass but not too much, now it's time to condition the heart and lungs to pump enough oxygen rich blood to those bigger muscles for 12 high intensity rounds. If he would've gained more lean muscle mass it would've made it harder on the lungs and heart but like this he looks fine. I like to see fighter gain weight at the right places though like on the shoulders and back, not necessarily on the arms since that just tires u out and limits your reach. We'll have to wait and see on fight night.
It might all come down to Mikey's durability, can he take the punishment as good as he's able to dish it out? can he avoid the punishment all together? will it be a combo of both like Ray Leonard vs Marvin Hagler? does he have enough dirty tricks up his sleeve to stall and steal rounds? I can't wait for that fight!Comment

Mikey's my boy but he kinda looks deformed here. Hopefully things work out fine for him and that he somehow survives Spence. I'd give Mikey 35 to 40% to pull off the upset.Comment

Good point! Physical appearance doesn’t matter at all. Although I still don’t think Mikey can beat Spence. No matter what mikey does hes never gonna have a physique that "Wows" you. His body genetics are that of a 12 year old boy but that doesnt matter because inside the ring mikey can throw those hands. Remember people, this is boxing not a male beauty pageant you dont get extra points on the score cards for having a 6 pack.Comment

Interesting comment. True Duran did not looked ripped. One thing Duran had coming into the fight with Leonard (me) was that he was reigning Lightweight champ, and had a record of 72 wins & 2 loses.. Duran had also fought a couple of fights at 147 lbs. And one thing I always noticed when a very skilled fighter moves up in weight, they tend to be much quicker & are able to slip punches. And that’s what I realized about Duran early on in the fight. He wasn’t easy to hit.Comment
