    Tyson Fury interview

Q - How did you score your fight with Deontay Wilder? It seems like 99% of the public had you winning.

TF - I've watched it back and I won 116-110. Aside from the knockdowns I won every round, and even those rounds, I came back to dominate, but Deontay, you know, he's a very hard puncher, a dangerous man and without a doubt the second best heavyweight in the world.

Q - Your thoughts on the potential match up of Anthony Joshua's rematch with Dillian Whyte?

TF - Couldn't care less. Anthony and Eddie will do all they can to avoid me, Deontay, Luis Ortiz, even Miller, he doesn't seem to fancy him either and all he is is just a hotdog eating champion-turned boxer.

    Q - Does Joshua's resume impress you?

TF - Not really. All he has beat are either bums or old men. Wlad was 42 when he beat him and hadn't fought for two years. Povetkin, another old man, Dillian when he was raw, Parker, Breazeale and Takam are all bums, so, yeah, nothing too impressive really.

Q - How would a fight between you and Joshua go?

TF - I'd completely outbox him, and stop him between 7-9. Deontay would do him in 1. Different styles, different fights. But the fights won't happen. Eddie Hearn doesn't want Joshua to lose anytime soon.

Q - Heavyweight fight you'd most like to see outside of the big three?

TF - Dave Allen vs Ustinov would be mouth watering.

Q - What did you think of Warrington vs Frampton?

TF - Good fight. Warrington had too much for Carl, and to be honest, Frampton, he's seen better days, you know. I think he should cash out with the Quigg rematch and call it a day.

Tyson Fury was interviewed at KK's Texan Grillhouse in Croydon by journalist Martin T Roll.

Even if you don't agree with his takes (and I absolutely do not with some of them) it is obvious why having Tyson back and involved is a good thing for the sport.

          Hope he sticks around...

Exactly. He really fancies the AJ fight in my opinion and this is the best way to get it. I don't agree with his comments but he makes me smile.

Fury is such a bragger. He beat Wilder but he didn't win every round he wasn't knocked down in. Wilder won a couple of those for a score of 114 to 112 in Fury's favor in my opinion. He calls every heavyweight except himself and Wilder a bum. Before he fought Wilder he said Wilder was a bum he would knock out. He never came close to knocking Wilder out. Now because Wilder gave him a good fight he has generously elevated Wilder above bum status and says Wilder will KO AJ in one round. He says he will completely outbox AJ and stop him in 7 to 9 rounds. How humble and modest of him.

Tyson has shown a lot of respect for Wilder ever since they signed to fight. I think they actually like each other. Other than some stuff during fight week (which was hype) they've been very respectful to each other.
