So how did he get exposed? By getting outboxed but landing two big equalixers? That’s what every boxing pundit expected to happen (one or the other, just so happens we got both)
    He looked really bad.

It's one thing to only have power, but win some rounds without the 2 knockouts.

For me, he was exposed and looked terrible against Fury.

      There.
Im sorry, but this doesn't even make sense to me. So to you, losing. Because charlo career isn't over. What if goes on to beat Canelo? Is he "unexposed" ? Does Canelo then become exposed?

The hype that fans are giving them? Hardly seems fair to bash a fighter for not living up to their some unreasonable expectations.

And that’s fine, but I’m just saying he wasn’t exposed. He did better than any real boxing mind expected, and he did better than Wlad did against Fury.

You can’t expose Wilder because he isn’t a top notch pugilist, he’s a puncher. Fury showed us what everyone already knew.

Charlo EXPOSED. See how that works out TS?
No I don't see how that works because charlo has beaten guys better than the one he lost too. So exposed or bad day at the office?

How does arguably the best HW, fury, expose someone? Wilder has looked terrible against guys WAY worse than fury. Wilder has always been fun to watch, not beautiful

I agree with OP. Let's breakdown what the term actually means...

To be exposed, means you were in a fight where you've shown to lack an ability that the majority of fans thought you had.

Good example: Adrien Broner was exposed against Marcos Maidana as it was discovered that he actually doesn't have the ability to box going backwards. He never had to at the lower weights because of his size and strength, but it was assumed by most that he had the ability simply based on his athleticism and hype. Since then, Broner has shown to always be more effective coming forward letting his hands go.

Bad example: People say Fury exposed Wilder's inability to box. That's wrong, as most people knew Wilder lacked boxing skills to begin with, especially when compared to someone like Tyson Fury. That fight went exactly how it was supposed to go. Either Fury gets knocked out or he wins with his boxing ability. No one was exposed in this fight.

Lmao this. If anyone exposed Wilder it was Dauhaupis when Wilder got his own feet tangled together throwing bombs lmao

When a guy hyped up to beat golovkin and canelo, gets countered all night and arguably lost to a C level fighter who took the fight on 2 weeks notice and had only fought an opponent who was 16-12 in space of 2 years. Thats what being exposed is

Much as I like to needle Charlo fans, I do not think Korobov "exposed" Jermall. Korobov is still one of the highest skilled fighters today. I'm still not certain if Charlo is great or just very good but coming up short in the skill dept. against Korobov is no great shame.
If Jermall had had the same fight against Monroe then maybe a case could be made. Korobov's performance was inspired, if he had trained for 12 with that same enthusiasm he might well have had a clear victory.
