That Crawford/Spence bout is being strategically put off by both camps. I think we all know that. The fighters have little to no say on the matter despite what fans think.
Only idiots that dont know sht about boxing or casual fans say the "ducking" word.... He's an idiot.

So rare to see an intelligent comment on these boards. I agree, any rational person knows Crawford vs Spence will take place when it's a mainstream, megafight.

“People don’t Chris Algieri as much credit as he deserves,” said James. “He beat Ruslan Provodnikov [for a 140-pound title] and Manny Pacquiao couldn’t knock him out.”

Manny Pacquiao didn't knock anybody out though around that time for like a ten year period. The closest he ever came, though, was against Chris Algieri, sooooooo anywayyyyy...................

If Mikey pulls this off he is #1 p4p. I just don't see that happening, Spence is just as special but much bigger.

I don’t see how anyone is giving Mikey a shot against Spence. I think it will be the kind of fight that afterwards, people here and everywhere else will be saying that Mikey was too small for Spence and didn’t carry enough power into that fight to even faze Spence.

The only shot Mikey has in this fight is to out box Spence and earn a decision. But I strongly believe Spence will walk through his shots, especially in the 2nd half of the fight, and constantly invest to the body and impose his will on Mikey and wear him down, maybe even stop him. Or his brother will stop the fight. I’m hoping for a competitive fight and it will be the 1st half. I just don’t see a victory path for Mikey. And people don’t give Spence enough credit for how technically sound of a boxer he is and how he sets up his kill shots. Tough fight for Mikey.

I’d guess so after requesting a drug testing cutoff date. This dude is a suspect.

It may end up being hell for Mikey, but he's going to compete, especially early on. And I don't think he takes that much punishment. He's very skilled and savvy enough not to get hit with big shots. Only problem for him is he will find it extremely difficult to get past Spence's jab. Mikey will certainly try to use pivots to get out of harms way and put Spence in vulnerable positions, but he's a patient killer and doesn't go in there reckless. Won't be surprised if the fight is like 3-3 after six rounds before Spence amps it up.

It could also be a very boring and defensive, where Robert stops it mid-fight because Mickey has taken a few punches too much...

I laughed the rest of the article after i read that. The Chris Algeri shouldve been stopped.
