His attributes and preparations are second to none. Again, not saying he will win this, but i have this as a 50/50 fight.
I also give Mike a legit shot to win. I only put his chances at close to 40% though.

Mikey's confidence shouldn't be undermined. For him to have that much confidence shows that he legit sees something in Spence that makes him believe he can win. He's not even getting his feet wet at 147 before facing top ranked guys. He's going for arguably the head of the division in Errol Spence Jr.

With that being said, Garcia should be admired for his competitive spirit. I do think he has a chance but it's difficult when analyzing Spence's strengths. Spence is a big welterweight, he's powerful, and can cut off the ring. He's also a quick welterweight. But again, Mikey is a superior talent. He's ranked top 5 in most pound for pound rankings. I think if he focuses on speed to blind Spence and offset his offense it would help him. He's already a great technical fighter and if he can mesh that with speed it would awesome.

Insted of everyone blasting Mikey for being a fool we should tip our hat to him for taking up this challenge. This is what the real fighters of yesteryear used to do when there was as many divisions.
These types of challenges happened all the time.
The lightweight champ Takes on the welterweight champ.
Ever hear of Carmen Basilio vs Ray Robinson. Welterweight champ vs Middleweight champ
          Billy Conn vs Joe Louis
Archie Moore vs Rocky Marciano. Roy Jones vs Virgil Hill.
          Mickey walker vs Jack Johnson

I been waiting to see Garcia get whooped. Too bad he didnt let Loma do it. He has been pretty good about cherry picking his career but I guess the greed has finally caught up to him.

Why ruin a valid point being made about hypocrisy in the sport by putting the "ducking" remark? It's immediately ruins your credibility.

That Crawford/Spence bout is being strategically put off by both camps. I think we all know that. The fighters have little to no say on the matter despite what fans think.

Mikey had better deliver. It will be hard to accept losing to a technically inferior fight in Spence. He's just so much bigger than Mikey though that you can't count him out despite his bland skill set and robotic predictable movement.
