Lennox was getting soundly outboxed and hurt throughout the fight. Evidence for this statement?

Vitaliy landed 50% more POWER SHOTS and a good amount more jabs.

Vitaliy was up on the scorecards.

Lennox won fare and square by stoppage due to a cut, but go fck yourself with any claims that Lennox was out boxing anyone that night.

There is ZERO evidence that Lennox "out boxed" Vitaliy, as the latter landed more of everything and was pressing the action.

So take the Lennox W and STFU before calling the other camp salty because you come across as no better.

What are you talking about? He was champion for years and one of the best heavyweights in history. He only lost two fights. He lost a fight he was winning when his shoulder was injured and he retired and the Lewis fight that he was winning but was stopped because the cut. He beat the hell out of everyone else and they weren't fringe contenders. He was an excellent boxer and a very hard puncher.

The match helped Vitali big time. Prior to that fight he was looked at as more an amateur style who quit against Byrd. After the Lewis loss he was viewed a warrior.



A deep cut to the brow won’t bleed immediately. Takes time to get the color flowing. It’s why wrestlers cut their forehead and not near their eyebrow. It’s one of the easiest places to get cut, but no real veins

The video evidence says, big overhand right, no blood, only after the headbutt goes in do I see any blood.

I personally believe the cut was due to the short right hand on the inside
And yes it does not start bleeding right away but that is common if their was no rip to the skin
So maybe the leading engagement ( where the heads do clash , and to my opinion not a hard clash but enough to get that blood clot to tear and begin bleeding )
I do believe Vitali was winning ( whether Lennox didn’t train or wtv )
But do believe Lennox , with his experience would have jumped on that and probably get the w anyway.

He was beginning to visible bully Vitali Kiltschko! The longer the fight would of went, it was clear that Lennox Lewis was landing more hard jabs, and in general just bullying Kiltschko.

It was caused by Vitali being inferior boxer back then same as it always will be, because thats what vitali was. same deal whenever vitali stepped too far above fringe contender level opponents.

I dunno if you've ever watched boxing before but cuts are pretty common & how severe they bleed is pretty random. Vitali was the superior boxer... Because he boxed better.
