Lennox Lewis was abit out of condition, but bullying Vitali Kiltschko. If the fight would of carried on? that cut is only going to get worse and worse, as Lennox Lewis lands more punches. Lewis's main battle was just pacing himself, as out of the two fighters? He was hurting and causing Vitali Kiltschko more damage.

Does not matter in the big picture. Vitaly got necessary experience from this fight, won or lost, and got on the winning streak after that. He was a moral victor anyway, because Lennox did not want rematch and retired.

The match helped Vitali big time. Prior to that fight he was looked at as more an amateur style who quit against Byrd. After the Lewis loss he was viewed a warrior.

Yes, it does look like the headbutt caused it.

You see his face after the big over hand right lands and zero blood, the head but comes in and then you see the blood.

I'm looking for a real discussion here but instead all I get is salty Lewis fans that are making a bunch of excuses like "he would have knocked him out anyway" as a reason for why he not performed. I'm not arguing who would have won the fight if it continued. This thread is about the cut being caused by a headbutt or a punch. Because from watching the tape the blood started flowing after the headbutt, but it might have been a delayed reaction from the punch I'm not sure...
