Eubank needs a real trainer. He's not that bad.

Speaking as a GGG fan, ZERO interest in George Groves leftovers. If GGG is truly so past prime that he can no longer beat guys on the Canelo or Callum Smith level, then he should just retire. Otherwise, every one of the few remaining fights of GGG's career should be against guys on that level, not the Chris Eubank Jr's of the sport, not until Eubank Jr beats a top opponent himself to make the fight mean something for GGG. Otherwise even if GGG wins, it's just another fight date, another six months, wasted on a single opponent who does nothing for GGG's legacy.

If he does, it would be the same as Fielding - a weak title which he won't hold onto for long.

Barry Hearn is experienced in boxing but he's talking **** in this interview - he's saying Eubank could be a superstar, but also admitting he doesn't punch properly, and his best attributes are his chin and his engine.
He's 29 years old and he has terrible footwork and non existing boxing skills. How the **** could he be a superstar?
He's been a complete hype job from the beginning. Anyone who believed otherwise should seriously question how much they know about boxing.
The only thing Eubank has going for him is his gas tank. He should have gotten into being a boxercise coach

Nah, the Degale fight is perfect for him. Actually perfect for both fighters. Why the hell would GGG want to fight Eubank at this point?

I'm just not sure how this fight will be PPV in England though. A match up like this one at this point of both their careers being on PPV just seems dirty as hell. Would be a hell of a PBC/ITV opener though.

Why on earth would top flight G. be interested in fighting Eubank Jr. . Degale is about finished therefore they are a perfect match .....PPV NOT!

I agree with him that Eubank hasn't had the right guidance so in his career. But I don't think a fight with GGG would be a good idea either. He'd get wrecked.

Yeah, but that's not a UK fight. The US PBC shows will be free, but I'm sure this fight will be on PPV....And it absolutely not should be on PPV. This will be the first live show in the UK after the PBC/ITV deal.

Does this even do 50k buys?

I really don't get what the deal is with him. He trains with Floyd Sr for a few weeks and then goes back to the UK. Is there an issue here with him wanting to train back home and not in the states? Because I'm pretty sure Sr won't leave Vegas to go to the UK to train Eubank. But his pops pretty much runs the show. Even becomes his trainer on fight nights and he's not cut out for that.
