He's actually not that much better than Fielding. I don't rate Fielding btw, but Eubank Jr is a bum. At least Fielding has some power. He also can say he actually held a belt, for one fight. Eubank Jr hasn't done that and I seriously doubt he will in his entire career.
If he does, it would be the same as Fielding - a weak title which he won't hold onto for long.

Barry Hearn is experienced in boxing but he's talking **** in this interview - he's saying Eubank could be a superstar, but also admitting he doesn't punch properly, and his best attributes are his chin and his engine.
He's 29 years old and he has terrible footwork and non existing boxing skills. How the **** could he be a superstar?
He's been a complete hype job from the beginning. Anyone who believed otherwise should seriously question how much they know about boxing.

He’s just saying that because he knows Degale is with Haymon

I get it, but Hearn is talking about Eubank @ 168 (I think), so why not Smith @ 168? I think GGG should target Jacobs @ 160, for the IBF title. Jacobs won't be able to gain all that weight, like the last fight! Oscar said "No Jacobs," so GGG would probably be Jacobs' best (although I want Jacobs vs. Charlo really bad) option!

He said that before Lemieux! Maybe Lemieux's failure changes things, but I haven't seen anything from Oscar regarding Jacobs since! My question is why was Jacobs dismissed so quickly in the 1st place?

Eubank at 168 might have a chance against Golovkin. He did take Groves 12 rounds. Not too shabby imo

IDK Oscar aint right. I mean he does shove kitchen utensils up his ass. But Jacobs makes the most sense. And if it makes sense it makes $$$$ Canelo cant do 2 sht fights in a row. ESPECIALLY on a Mexican Holiday. He will get blasted for it by casuals and pros alike with this many good fighters to choose from.

Eubank vs Degale is ok for a free fight (one of the headliners for a smaller card) - anything more is silly. Not many would pay for it

Eubank really needs to try and rebuild and if I were him I would sign for a matchroom and fight a few low end fighters and build up with a few new coaching staff. Having two losses already is significant and he really can’t afford a third loss - losing to DeGale probably ends his career and if he wins he won’t get no credit - degale will have just been retired as “past it”
