I watched Jermall-Korobov again as well and I thought Korobov won clearly. I just can't see how anyone could have Jermall winning this. Korobov landed the cleaner punches throughout the fight. He faded after 6-7 rounds but continued to land the more eye-catching shots and drowing reaction from the crowd. Korobov simply couldn't miss with his left hand. You can't win a fight if you're getting hit over and over by the same punch.

This fight reminded me a little bit of Lara-Williams. Korobov and Lara were both southpaws, underdogs, landed clean straight left hands all night against opponents pressing the action, and just like Lara, Korobov was robbed.

The Charlos might have bought their own hype, and/or felt the pressure to provide excitement with a K.O. and forgot to box and win rounds. They were given a boxing lesson and both clearly lost in my opinion.

However let’s say that I did. Why is it wrong for anyone to hype any boxer when you do it as well? You always have a problem if a black American boxer is talked about positively but have no issue when it’s a boxer of a different race or nationality.

I don’t think the Charlos are special fighters but it’s clear they are a level above Broner. I never thought much of Broner a fighter with a pretty awful defense and slow feet trying to be Mayweather.

I think the Charlos can be in the mix of good, competitive fights whereas Broner for years has been getting worked and getting gifts vs. mediocre opposition.
