Please explain how AJ was able to "opt out" of fighting Ortiz, when Ortiz was his mandatory challenger?

Ortiz's last 5 wins are no better than Povetkin's, and I'll just leave it there since I liked Ortiz's wins. The difference is, Ortiz didn't sit on the shelf for a year for roids. Wilder-Fury brought in more than Joshua-Povetkin, and Joshua-Parker, and that was reported on this site. I never said Wilder makes more than Joshua, but his PPV debut did bring in more than Joshua's last 2 performances, and the rematch likely will too. So AJ got the WBA a belt from the Klitschko fight.

He then fought Takam as a replacement to Pulev as the IBF Mando ordered before AJ even fought Klitscko for WBA. Meanwhile Ortiz and his team failed to fill in form dropping WBA rankings whilst at the same time choosing to go with Wilder instead and getting KO'd.

AJ then fought Parker for unification.

And after that Povetkin to fulfill WBA Mando after Wilder talks broke down.

So since the only voluntary fight was the unification with Parker, you're saying AJ should have fought Ortiz a month after Wilder knocked him out instead of unifying?

Ortiz Whyte or Ortiz Chisora would be at a fast pace. Both would get KOd trying to push the pace versus the big southpaw.

When Hearn offers something close to 40% or better or even a $20M plus upside deal, then you can cry about Wilder asking for 50-50. Otherwise it's just a convenient excuse to allow Hearn to play games.

Ruiz is better than Ortiz' biggest win in Jennings. So if you have something negative to say about Parker, you'll have an even more negative view of Ortiz. But you won't, because you're a hypocrite.
