Comments Thread For: Hearn: Joshua-Wilder Must Happen Before Mandatory Orders

Eddie Hearn, who promotes IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua, says a unification with WBC champion Deontay Wilder needs to happen right now - because sooner than later the sanctioning bodies will begin ordering Joshua to make mandatory defenses.

Team AJ: Fighting Wilder is all we want.
Also Team AJ: Defending meaningless belts over fighting Wilder.

Hearn again talks COMPLETE BOLLOCKS AGAIN.....If you don't know, unification fights trump mandatory defences each and every time .Meaning Wilder and Joshua could fight for a unification any time and put who ever on hold.

The Hearns and Joshua are clowns and treat the paying public as fools .They are digging an even bigger hole here, thinking their clever!

Wilder obviously has no intention of fighting AJ, ever. Time to move on and forget about it.

If Wilder don't want the fight what do you want them to do?put a gun to his head?

Typing "thinking their clever" in a sentence accusing someone of not being too bright.

Possibly a late entrant for ironic post of the year.

Wilder is doing zero, zilch, nothing to make this fight happen. So it's not happening. If you wanna pin that on Eddie Hearn go ahead, all Hearn has done is try and make the fight, but Wilder somehow wants paying hugely over his worth.

If I am selling my car for $20,000, and you come along and offer me $300 who is the one making a deal impossible, the buyer or the seller? Why don't you do something good for the sport and call out Wilder on his ducking like so many US based boxing critics / channels are doing. He is clearly not interested in 'one name one face' like he runs his mouth off all the time. He can lose to Fury first, and then Joshua Fury for all the marbles. Hope Wilder will man up, but he's got no shame and will likely continue to duck.

                Currently AJ has 0 mandatories

WBO Mandatory - Was Povetkin. Was just taken care of
IBF Mandatory - Pulev is #1 contender, I don't believe he has mandatory status yet
WBA Mandatory - Was Povetkin. Was just taken care of

                MANDATORIES COMING DOE!!

This isn't true if a fight is not agreed upon by the time a sanctioning body puts forward it's ruling. We saw this with the Povetkin situation where Finkel sat on a contract and the WBA took action. Hearn keeps trying to get the Wilder fight and it's actually team Wilder playing the fans like fools.
