Thurman I understand did have surgery but two years off? Nah. Lomachenko was ridiculed for taking the summer off with a worse injury and got right back in with a unification. Thurman talking about taking a year of gimmee's and he's trying to denigrate a fighting champion and true pound for pound player in Crawford?

I gave him the benefit of the doubt taking the year off in 2017 but then when you say "2018 is my get back year" then postpone that whole year with no additional injuries or surgeries and say 2019 is your "get back"? Not buying it. He's hiding behind the built in excuse for Crawford and waiting for Spence to grow out of the division.

He was a good fighter but he's not in a position to act as the sanctioning body for the entire division.

I don't know if Spence can beat Thurman, but I do know that Bud would whoop Thurmans ass. Thurman is doing a lot of talking lately. Mofo put the gloves on and fight. Show us what you used to do.
