I think it's really close. Ortiz is a really good heavyweight. GGG went 1-1-1 vs Jacobs and Canelo in his only 3 good opponents. Very similar resumes.

I would say GGG. Both guys resume's aren't as good as they could be because both of their divisions were relatively absent of top quality fighters for much of their reigns. But I do think the majority of GGG's opponents were more skilled and talented than Wilders. GGG had three fights against top tier opponents and has a record of 1-1-1. The fights were competitive enough that some people think he should be 3-0 and some think he should be 0-3. Wilder has a record of 1-0-1 against top tier opposition but the vast majority of people think he lost to Fury. Moreover he was out on his feet against Ortiz and was getting outboxed for a decent amount of their fight if memory serves me.

So I think GGG's dominance over better opposition for a longer period of time plus his comparative competitiveness against the top tier guys he faced gives him the edge.

          resume threads are ******

opponents fail ped tests, some divisions have more good fighters, fighters are ducked - sometimes ducked when in their prime and then lose when they are over the hill,

a lot of these factors are out of the fighter's control at times

besides, just go to boxrec if you wanna check out resumes

That's the only criteria you can rely on when we compare these two fighters, other things are too debatable, some people thought Canelo won the first fight as well
By some people you mean Canelo fanboys ? Can't remember alot of credible media outlets scoring the fight for Canelo...just like almost no one scored Fury-Wilder for Wilder... Any way Jacobs is better than Ortiz as well

GGG has two wins over top world level, which is 2 more than Wildman.

At the moment GGG . Only way Wilder can top GGG is by beating Fury and AJ

Jacobs was not 39 years old but prime and he is more proven than Ortiz with wins over truax, derev, quillini, Mora ect...

Jacobs is a better win on paper, Ortiz claim to fame is beating up Michael Jennings who rank even lower than Mora imo since Mora beat Forrest so at least beat somebody relevant in his career unlike Jennings.

GGG is old and went competitive with a prime Canelo.

I rate high Fury draw bro but Fury was not prime bring inactive and obese 10 months ago, still Wilder struggle d and could not stop him late rounds.

Except that Wilder is in his prime and Ortiz, Fury weren't. Well Tyson is in his prime age but was not active and not at his best.

While GGG has left his best years and nelo Jacobs were active and in their strong years.

I believe Jacobs is p4p better than Ortiz old as.s, check both records

My point is GGG is a class above Wilder.
