... not sure why people are shocked, lol.

Josesito Lopez is the fight already on the books, with Thurman's second fight either being vs Pacquiao-Broner winner (WBA champ vs wba champ; viable for PPV with either winner) or the Porter-Ugas winner (Thurman-Porter 2 likely calls for too much money to not be on PPV; Thurman-Ugas likely doesn't go to PPV).

Even still, Errol Spence Jr has the Mikey Garcia fight, and for his second fight of the year (with no IBF mandatory due), Spence would likely love to fight Thurman or Pacquiao (neither want the smoke), but Porter, Danny Garcia (if he wins his fight), Sergey Lipinets (if he wins his fight), and even Jarrett Hurd are viable options (Hurd is ridiculously unlikely, tbh; as much as there's the hyperbole, Hurd-Charlo is still on the timeline that Copp spoke of anyway, except that Charlo would fight Tony Harrison twice while Hurd would've had Welborn and Julian Williams as his two fights. Hurd beats Williams and Charlo wins the rematch in decisive fashion, the talks start in the Winter for a fight likely for early Spring 2020).

Crawford does whatever Crawford over there, but it's not like the schedules are unknown here, lol.

And then fights Spence and Crawford in 2020.
Still blows the other welterweight's resumes out of the water.

It’s ingenious actually, he knows they both know his weaknesses but he doesn’t know much about theirs and needs more tape!

Also doesn’t hurt he wants them both to get a bit more war torn an older so he can be more fresh of the bunch and the advantage in that department!

No doubt in my mind Thurman knows Spence is absolutely killing himself to make 147 and will jump at the right opportunity and he knows Crawford is getting older an will slow down and eventually Crawford fighting all those bums in Top Ranks stable won’t keep him sharp!

Thurman is the smarter fighter at 147, he knows what he’s doing! He knew Danny was too small, footwork too slow and throws too little punches to be effective for him minus the left hook and knew Porter struggles to make 147 so he waited him out a bit and knew Porter will come forward, tough fight but the victory is what matters!

Thurman is #1 until he gets beaten and so far he still has his 0!
So your argument is that hes the best welterweight because he knows how to cherrypick better than the rest,& that we should support him because he is an expert at avoiding fights? Sound about right,or did I miss something?

How are you going to get active and sharp with only 2 fights against lower tier opposition?

Keith "Sometime" Thurman is done at the top level.

Boxing can be an irritating sport to follow.
That's definitely why boxing is dead now. It's like watching guys copying a business model. The paycheck is definitely more important than legacy in today's age, but fighters are being taught that, so it's not too surprising to me. Pride is old school.
