Just looked at that full card & probably the only semi interesting fight on that card is Algeri vs a manufactured 17-1-1 record guy (6-1 vs guys with a winning record).

only fight i really care about is seeing Linares at 140...and that's more of a curiosity. Not like I'm going to stop my day to watch that fight. I can't see anyone wanting to buy tickets to this

This is a whole bs ass card of just staying active. I mean fair play to have some stay active fights on a show, but its kinda bs to have a show where all the fights are mismatches. Hearn is better than this bs. Don't know wtf he's thinking here at all.

Matchroom USA has been a sh^tshow. Maybe there was a good card in there, but I'm not recalling a card with more then two decent fights & I know there has been more than this one that I don't even understand the purpose of the card. This is one notch above a mismatched from opening fight to main event club show just with better names.

I'm still waiting for the first "Big PPV caliber" DAZN event. Believe its 2mos past due now & still no word on when that'll be happening.

Hearn needs to slow down on these one hour interviews with every boxing media hack with a YouTube channel & get to f#cking work on producing some quality events like he used to do & what got him where he's at.

And that's the issue. He just has far too much on the plate right now. No one should be responsible for that many cards in a year. You then get far more quantity than quality. To make matters worse, his product in the UK will dip with his attention elsewhere. Having Hearn lead the operations in other countries for DAZN doesn't make all that much sense. But it is clear he has a personal relationship with the top guns at DAZN and they trust him. We shall see how this plays out but the man will pretty much be on the road every single week the rest of the year. Bless that man's soul!

Ultimately the market will dictate what happens. If he's making money and his fighters are making money then he's doing well for boxing. By all accounts things are looking promising for Matchroom USA. They only launched with DAZN what, 3 months ago? They're signing promising amateurs and their fighters are happy.

Us as spectators will just have to be patient and wait for the bigger fights to materialize and for the fighters' profile to grow. Like I said, you can't expect every card to be a good one, it's just unrealistic.

I'm sure there will be plenty of good shows over the next 12 months.

Hes gone a bit too quiet all of a sudden. Your mate Barbosa is saying Rungvisai/Estrada 2 will be on the Feb Matchroom card. I assume hes going to announce some stuff next week, Hearn likes announcements during fight weeks in the US
