Comments Thread For: Thurman Gives Take on Spence-Garcia, Pacquiao-Broner, Lopez

WBA "super" welterweight champion Keith Thurman compares the first four months of 147-pound action in 2019 to "a good book" to be taken "chapter by chapter," adding, "My getting back into the ring is the start of the first chapter for me."

I hope Keith’s comeback is successful. Plenty of great fights to be made at welterweight with him in the picture. Decent breakdown of the upcoming fights by Keith. Would have been nice for him to give us his rankings of 147lb fighters (excluding himself).

Keith will be an excellent announcer when he retires.

Manteca! I'm actually from Tracy but live in Stockton at the moment. If I was in Manteca right now, I'd be eating some al pastor tacos from La Costa. And I'm with you, I don't know who'll win either, but their styles seem like they'd make for a great fight.

There should be only one WBA champ, Pacquiao should fight Thurman if he beats Broner.

are you really going to pick the guy who hasn't fought a live body in years and has been ducking? i think not. thurmans made millions of dollars and set himself up for life.he took advantage of the holes in the system and made a great life for himself. i would have done the same but he's not a fighter. if you can make a living off of trickery why wouldn't you? not everyone who is a "success" is actually talented or smart. look at trump. if you know how to cheat the system you can float through it although trump got caught and exposed and thurman probablly would as well. its not about whether you get exposed its about how much can you drain the idiots out of before you get exposed.
