This is why fury is no1. When Josh is ready to fight fury for his no1 status, fury will be ready to defend his status at any moment.
You can't say the same for josh. With Josh he says things like "if I fight fury now it will be hard win for me. But if I fight him down the line with more experience it will be easier win"

It's in everyone's best interest that fury is considered and seen as no1

Hugh, I agree..... but, did Joshua actually say that ?

if he said that awhile back, I would pay it no mind

but if that is a recent comment, made since Fury un-retired..... then you Sir, are 100% correct

However, I do remember when he too was offered a lot of money to rematch Vitali and he chose to retire.

Now look at what Mayweather accomplished but he is never Quick to give compliments to current fighters even when they have not achieved a quarter of what Mayweather did. Yes logically you will say why would Lennox be jealous but Lennox didn’t endure the adulation of the British public likE Joshua receives. Maybe he doesn’t feel appreciated but I’m definitely not going to criticise him because he has an opinion on a boxer. Some of his comments are funny. Whilst he was commentating on the Wilder vs Fury fight he said both fighters were boxing magnificently. He is a nice guy old Lennox
I never liked Lennox Lewis during his career. I loathed him.
But now I afford him the respect that he rightfully earned.
We can all try to imagine what's inside somebody's head,
but I don't believe Lennox is jealous of Joshua whatsoever.
Lennox seems to be a reasonable man who understands
that his time is in the past, but he's also proud of his
        remarkable career.
He knows that Joshua might prove to be an ATG someday,
but for now he's just the flavor of the year.

I appreciate that Lennox won a gold medal for Canada,
but I still don't love the guy. That being said, he's earned
my respect as a man and I place some value in his opinion.

I agree with you, but I think AJ probably has more
confidence in his abilities than his team/promoter does.
I don't think AJ beats either Wilder or Fury, but I don't
think AJ himself is 'scared' of them. AJ has become an
arrogant douche, but I think he believes in himself.
His team know better. Hearn doesn't want to risk it.
Either way, he is NOT stuck.
He is not stuck because the British fans seem to be
willing to overlook facts and ignore the truth.
They'll love AJ no matter what happens.
          They're like lemmings.
