So first off:
You didn't, but you did imply that Wilder pulled out of the fight as soon as he had an excuse to, which some looks an awful lot like you calling Wilder's heart into question. If that's not the case, then my fault for misinterpreting what you meant.
Both fighters have unimpressive resumes, with Joshua having the "better" of the two, and that really is the end of. Wilder nearly flattened the guy who beat Joshua's best win, and will likely rematch him. A win would make Wilder's resume and likely his PPV earnings more impressive than Joshua's if Fury shows up in shape. Until that happens, Joshua is the superior champion, and the matchup remains intriguing for the same reasons.
You're correct in stating that all people have their basis biases. I'm biased against fighters who turn down life changing offers for diva reasons. This compounds when fans of that fighter suddenly turn into lawyers, promoters, businessmen, philosophers, etc, to support the excuse. Even with my favorite fighters, I call out their BS. Mayweather definitely shared fault in the Pacquiao fight not getting done sooner, especially with his $40M flat fee offer.
Imagine if Bob Arum offered Mayweather $50M and 50% revenue at any time before 2014, and Mayweather declined. He would be slammed even worse than he already is, yet here Joshua is receiving preferential treatment. I promise I don't hate the guy, but it's truly strange to see people congratulating his behavior because of reasons that fans of fighting shouldn't even care about. Feliz Kwanzukkah
He couldn’t wait to get out of the fight and didn’t even wait for the B sample...
