    Comments Thread For: Hearn: Joshua 80% To Fight at Wembley on 4/13, Whyte is Likely

    Dillian Whyte has a "very, very good" chance of being Anthony Joshua's next challenger, according to their promoter Eddie Hearn. In the event of victory over Dereck Chisora it was considered a near-formality that Whyte would fight the IBF, WBA, IBO and WBO heavyweight champion at Wembley on April 13.

      Quelle Surprise.

      The Whyte fight has been basically signed for months. That's the only fight that was ever going to happen.

          He clarified his points in an interview later on;

          Basically:

          Number one choice is wilder. Wilder currently saying he won’t fight regardless of $. Over next two weeks he is trying to push that fight.

          Fury is number two choice BUT likelihood is wilder would be fighting him if Joshua doesn’t get his #1 choice.

          Whyte would be third favourite as long as he is sensible with demands. Given Whyte has done good ppv numbers on his own last two fights it’s hard to believe this wouldn’t give him good $.

          Miller fourth choice, but in that scenario likelihood is he would do the fight in New York as American debut.

          Also without purposely saying it he implied khan brook is ON by saying if he did fight Miller than they would almost certainly go on the wembley date.

          All fairly logical really. Whyte will probably happen given wilders reluctance to fight and frank warrens bitterness although one final spanner in the works..

          Tyson fury rumored to be out of contract with frank ! Is he a free agent again?

            Let down. If its not wilder or fury it don't matter but I was intrigued with the idea of big baby in NYC. But white in the UK does nothing for his profile in the US

              Whyte is decent but nothing special! I like the idea of Brook vs. Khan @ Wembley, and Joshua vs. Miller @ MSG much better! Let Whyte fight Usyk next, in the UK!

                Wilder and Fury will likely have their rematch. They both seem to genuinely dislike Joshua/Hearn. Maybe not Fury, but definitely Wilder.

                  Whyte should go for Breazeale or Miller now in the US.

                    Why is Fury not being considered? I'm sure Fury would choose Joshua over Wilder because there is more money in the Joshua fight.
