    THIS!!

I still hold out hope, because they still are hanging out in the same area and it would be a fairly big, easily sellable fight. But that 160 pound limit has way better paydays and a ton more prestige, so I get it.

Wait a minute... this might happen at 160.

    EVEN BETTER!!

While I respect his desire to get that "L" evened out against Hurd, Charlo gets his rematch. Not much more to see here.

Charlo beat Harrison wide and got robbed. Hurd knocked him out. Seems like Charlo had to do the same even though Charlo was the champ and the one pressing the fight. He even outlanded Harrison wide. Harrison's output was pathetic and when he did land it wasn't with force. What a joke.

I've seen the fight. That right hand wasn't landing clean. Charlo blocked it or slipped it most of the fight. Harrison lost. It wasn't even close. Charlo outlanded him wide in the power shot department.

Watch Tony's jabs and feints when he planted his lead foot and watch how Charlo responds. Look at the top guys at 154 and who they're aligned with. Then look at Charlos resume..safe matchmaking dude. Hes hyped, one of PBCs big names..its their way of protecting their product by avoiding threats. Dude PBC doesn't even match their top guys against each other
Charlo took the right hand away. What success did Tony have? Last I checked feints dont win you rounds if you aren't punching effectively behind them. Charlo outlanded Harrison every round besides 4-6 and was obviously landing the harder shots. There is no way all the judges could give it to Harrison. That just didn't happen point blank. I've been watching boxing and throwing hands long enough to know Harrison lost that without question. Harrison was in survival mode down the stretch and certainly didn't win the championship rounds. Lets give Harrison 4-6 and throw another round in there. 116-112 Charlo is as close as you can have it. This scoring was atrocious.

That's fine and dandy, but this was a voluntary defense so there was a rematch clause and you have to fight Charlo first. Beat him and then you can fight Hurd or whoever the hell you want.

Ok I can agree with you on the scoring N don't necessarily disagree with you that Charlo won.. however his success was limited in the fight because of how Harrison fought him. I know how Charlo fights n Harrison made him look bad compared to how he has looked against other opponents..this is where all the controversy comes from IMO

The feints were effective in the sense Charlo responded to them, he pulled back or stopped from rushing in, that's after Tony established the jab. Then Tony stepped offline, out of Charlos range..charlo was getting turned n would follow. That's how you get an angle in boxing.

When Munguia goes to 160, you know who he is fighting! Saul "Canelo" Alvarez!

Tony fought a defensive fight and was able to avoid a lot of the heavy artillery from Charlo, which is great for surviving rounds. The difference between him and say a Mayweather is that Floyd would do this and land a clean effective blow and then get out of range. Or he could be out of range and then jump in with a lead right. Tony actually had success with that when he tried it but he only tried it a couple of times, as it is very dangerous to do against a Charlo. You still have to score effectively and he didn't do that enough thoughout the fight to take the championship or win a majority of the rounds. He did fade in terms of output down the stretch though, as Charlo ramped it up a bit in the championship rounds. The good thing is it looks like we will get an immediate rematch and Charlo will get the opportunity to get that blemish off off his record and set the record straight. Harrison will get the chance to show the belt belongs around his waist. As long as Hurd doesn't get to swoop in and take Charlo's belt while avoiding Jermell I'm good with that.
