Loma has a fraction of the fights that Canelo has, and if he'd fought Mikey at lightweight, I don't think he would have won. And I don't really think that much of Mikey, personally.

Let's just be real here. Out of 12 fights, Loma has 2 real quality WINS, 4 bum wins, 1 questionable win, 1 legit loss and 4 guys who had no heart but were never really hurt. They're wins, but was that because of Loma or because of a lack of heart? I'm banking on the latter. Especially with Nick Walters.

To me, Loma is what you'd get if Amir Khan were better skilled at avoiding headshots. B+ fighter, talented but nowhere near the upper echelon at this point in his career.
You crap on Loma yet say Canelo's best wins are the following

    Mosley - beyond shot
Cotto - fat and old, best win at the weight was a shot Sergio
Chavez Jr - LOL, **** me

    That is truly ****ing abysmal.

    Then there's
Golovkin - vacated the WBC title the first time around because he didn't want to fight him then, geared up on Clen, GGG himself is overrated
    Khan - is ****
    Fielding - literal bum
    Angulo - caveman
    Kirkland - see Angulo
Lara - got a gift against him
    Mayweather - took an L
Trout - went life and death, SHOWTIME had Trout winning
    Liam Smith - garbage
Josesito Lopez - blown up 147lber

You guys just fall for hype. Hype, hype, hype. You look at names without context, resumes without reasoning, wins without facts.

As I said before in a different thread, the standard of boxing and boxers is so low now that when one looks at P4P lists in scrutiny, the truth reveals itself and that is the majority of the list have dog**** resumes.

And I'm going to call this thread out for what it is - a Floyd dick licking exercise just to prop Floyd up on a pedestal

Mosley old cotton old and cmon Chavez Jr? Loma easily the best skilled fighter today. Not even a close second.

Didn't give him credit either for fighting GGG. I didn't give him a win in either fight and lost the first one.

He doesn't try to challenge every fight out like Loma does. It's well documented how Loma always trying to fight everyone and Canelo is always having these showcase fights against the Liam smith of the world.

At some point, you people need to understand. NAMES are what matter. Not age.

Jeff 'The Hornet' Horn became an overnight celebrity by UNANIMOUSLY beating Manny Pacquiao at the Battle of Brisbane. It don't matter how old/shot/whatever you assume Manny to be, since he was fresh off dominant wins against two prime Top 25 fighters.

Same is in play with Canelo. It don't matter how old/shot/whatever you assume Cotto or Mosley to be, he beat them, decisively. They're both names that will end up in a Hall of Fame.

Chavez Jr. is a name, despite being otherwise questionable, mostly because of almost beating Sergio Martinez who was at the top of the game at the time.

Who does Loma have as a name? A REAL name?

        Salido, Linares, Roman Martinez, Rigondeaux.

Linares is a quality win, Martinez is a quality win. Rigo quit without ever being hurt by Loma, Salido beat him. That's 50% by my math.

But it's clear I'll have to set some rules up in here. There won't be any of this comparing a 12-fight fighter with a damn near 60-fight fighter and trying to make the case for the former being better than the latter when you know better. I'll not allow you to make fools of yourselves.

Do you believe it now, NSB? Do you?

Because I'm going to keep reminding people on here until you start accepting the truth.

And another thing. A win is a win. A quality win is even better.

Danny Jacobs got beat clean and clever by the Carne Champion. No asterisks, a top tier opponent.

No other active fighter besides Tyson Fury has anywhere close to that quality of a clear, untainted win.

            That's why he's the best.
