The Charlos were disappointing. No doubt about it.

I didn't see any "star" potential in either of them yesterday.

Jermall was talking about Korobov's experience and learning something after this fight. And maybe that's exactly the problem...these guys haven't developed properly.

They needed to be fighting more frequently against good opposition. That's how you keep learning and getting better and adding new wrinkles to your game.

Compare them to Canelo who at age 28 looks like a seasoned vet after all the tough opponents he's been in with.

Yup. They had a huge opportunity to impress on a big stage and they both blew it whether you think they won or lost. Just like Loma the performances didn’t match the over the top promotional hype from the network.

Hopefully the rematches will be on Fox as well but probably only be on fs1 given the lack of excitement they provided.

They got good tv ratings so they had a lot of eyeballs on them. But they blew the opportunity.

Charlos are overrated loud-mouthed PBC hype jobs (like Wilder) so it's no surprise to me that they struggled, but some people underate the hell out of Korobov.

The guy is a highly decorated amateur, two time world champ. Yes, his pro career is nothing to write home about, and yes I know that he's old and took the fight on a weeks notice, but the guy has skills and can fight.

He was scheduled to fight GGG in 2012 in Golovkin's debut on HBO but he broke his arm and got replaced with Proksa. Not saying he would of beaten GGG but he'd of given him much better and tougher fight than Proksa did. Korobov was hot shyt back then believe it or not. But he got injured and it's been downhill for him ever since. Damn shame. Give the man some credit doe.

Haven't seen the other Charlo's fight so can't comment on that but everybody says it was a robbery.

I'm pretty sure that GGG was scheduled to fight Dmitry Pirog in his HBO debut, but you're right, Korobov was still a bit underrated in the leadup to this fight.

It was a terrible decision. But Jermell should have never let it be that close in the first place.

Both fought quality guys. Jermell struggled with a classic styled boxer. Jermall struggled early but clearly won. The Charlo brothers have critics, and I disregard them. They can't get a ko every time out. I have to watch the Harrison fight. I didn't see the early rounds, but from what I saw Harrison held his own. I liked yesterday's card. Not everyone is fighting a Fielding type fighter, lmao...

You are right, it was Pirog I've always mixed them up for some reason. I stand corrected.

It's ok to criticize them and tell it like it is.

They were given a big stage to shine on and they underwhelmed. How are we supposed to believe Jermall can beat Golovkin after that performance?

I don't think Jermall beats Canelo, Jacobs or Golovkin. But he won last night and I don't think anyone is interested in a Korobov rematch.
