    Was Jermall ever a threat?

He wouldn't beat Canelo or GGG in my book. Hell, I dont give him much of a shot against most of the top talents at 160. So no, he was never a threat in my eyes.

"But Canelo and GGG ducking him broooo"

Hes just the guy that Golovkin haters were backing, with no evidence whatsoever, to destroy Golovkin. Ive been reading this narrative for a while now. Hes a good fighter Charlo, whos best win is Trout. The image of the next Gman is fiction. I think Andrade is above him also.

I never thought for even one second that he stood a chance against GGG or Canelo and I had him losing to Jacobs. I thought he would beat Andrade but now I am not sure he wouldn't lose to Andrade too.

I know that the Golovkin and Canelo that fought last September brutalize Charlo. The thing is I think Jermall had a lot of potential, but he has been fed a steady diet of C to B level fighters and fought very infrequently at that which has kept him from growing. He can turn it around but he is already 28 and think about what Canelo has accomplished at the same age(not even a fan of Canelo).

This! They are solid fighters BUT they bought into their own hype while feasting on a lower caliber of fighters. Hopefully they turn it around or at least go out on their shield. No more bums.

He looked good at 154 against B level competition but neither one of the Charlo's are ready for the big leagues. Canelo has better defense and better body punching and combination punching than Korobov and Korobov in my opinion beat Charlo.

No never, but still a viable opponent for the top guys. He really lost to a 35 year old inactive Koborov who got destroyed by Andy Lee years ago. That shows you where he's at.
