What is strange is Korobov was knocking out/stopping everyone in the Amateurs Jacobs, Deveranchenko, Kovalev, Badou Jack, Usyck, as a Pro he does not seem to be a puncher,Look at the 2005 and 2007 World Amateur Championships he was either stopping them or winning one sided https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Korobov, I thought power was the last thing to go? Dude was quick, sneaky and accurate rather than particularly heavy handed I think. You need to watch some of his fights to see. And bear in mind that the stoppage threshold tends to be much lower in the ams.

EDIT: Said from the get go that this was a bit of a dicey fight for Jermall, though. Rusty or not Matvey was an elite amateur and had never been outboxed in the pro ranks. He has had a tendency to get sloppy and get caught up in firefights or whilst trying to finish and that's what I thought would probably happen here but if he boxed smart it was always gonna be a long night for Jermall.

I bet my 7 acres land that Willie Monroe Jr. was going to open a section of school and school Jermall Charlo to a close decision. This fight against Matt Korobov is the perfect fight for Golovkin to make a statement against Jermall Charlo. If GGG find his balls, I bet that he going to teach a few big lesson of boxing to Jermall Charlo and win a clear decision or possibly a TKO/KO.

Fact is I had Jermall losing 116-112 with rather ease.
I scored the first fight exactly as it was 115-113. But I would not have been surprised to see the first fight go to Jermell. But the 2nd fight no question Jermall was beat.

You have red mist towards the Charlos lol . 116-112 you are trippin. I always said I can only really judge the Charlos when they get in the ring with a live wire. Karabov or whatever his name is is not meant to be that stern test. He himself has not fought in 18 months. It was a dire performance from Jermall he entered the ring a lion and left the ring a panther.

That last round saved him if not for that round you would have had it 117-111 or 118-110 Lololololol

LOL think what you want but Charlo got beat by 2 rounds min which means he only won 4 rounds in my eyes. Giving him 116-112. And there is a ton of others that are saying the same thing so good luck on that. I mean the Russian could have won by one round but that makes it still 115-113 but in either case your boy got away with a robbery.
