Who hits harder Wlad or Deontay? (straight right)

Foreman often threw a perfect straight right and it was a great punch. He KOed Moorer with an arrow straight right hand that only traveled about 18 inches. It was a short straight from the shoulder right hand. He also knocked Frazier down many times with straight rights and a lot of other guys too. Watch a highlight real of Foreman's KOs and you will see he was a master of all the KO punches including the straight right.Who has the hardest straight right hand of all time?
Why do some guys like Shavers and Foreman ALWAYS throw a cross and never a straight right? Theres always a bend in their arm never do they fire it straight or hardly ever, it seems to be a common style where some boxers almost completely abandon the straight right, why is that?

sorry for the bent arm rights but just wanted to show a side by side comparison and couldn't find straighter hitting KO gifsComment

He was 214 pounds KOing guys lighter than that, it was a brilliant straight right but its probably not going to be the hardest right in history.
Deontay's KOing guys much heavier than himself at the same weight, but hes super rare to be that light and while we havnt seen what Louis can do vs bigger modern athletes there is serious doubt there.
The big guys back then were almost disabled stiff and useless I will see if he KOed any of themLast edited by AlexKid; 12-22-2018, 07:57 PM.Comment

KO is at the end.
The big guys back then were not like modern heavyweights less power skill etc like beginners
He gets him but not only is his power less impressive his opponent is much less dangerous, easier to hit and overall much less effective.
Hes basically a big amateur, and Deontay takes guys that like out early and not due to superior skil.
Wlad and many others do the same.Last edited by AlexKid; 12-22-2018, 08:14 PM.Comment

If I had to make my best guess I'd say Klitschko but I suspect it's fairly close. Klitschko didn't seem to throw everything into his punches, probably because he didn't want to throw himself off balance. I would think that most of the hard hitting heavyweights have a similar amount of power.Comment

Wilder needs to be more Klitschko and Klitschko needed to be more Wilder. Does that make any sense to anyone?
Both Punch hard, but impossible to really quantify without sports science tests. Who takes a punch Better might be the real difference if they ever fought. But if I had to... Wilder?! Try and Imagine a 212lb Wald punch vs a 235lb Wilder punch?Comment
