Golovkin is spending time with family, no real point in rushing things The loss might give him a new perspective on what he should do next with his career, etc. He probably has a few years left and some more good fights left.

I'm claiming your logic doesn't add up. Canelo loses or struggles multiple times but in your mind he's elite. Golovkin gets a highly disputed draw and a loss but he's merely world class.
