But yes, I do hope we get those fights you listed. However……

You are 100% correct, Top Rank never reached out to Haymon. Haymon simply didn't have anything for Alvarez and Top Rank has the division on lock in the same way Golden Boy has 160 on lock.

Top Rank and Haymon dont work together and Haymon gave Alvarez his "blessing" to sign with Top Rank instead and he is no longer a PBC fighter.

No different than the position that Main Events fighters are in now that Kovalev lost the 175 strap. There are only 4 straps per division, and there are many more than four promotional outfits. Other promoters have always had to work with other promoters in the past. It's high time Al Haymon had to as well.

Whether he endorsed it or not it was going to happen. This way it looks like a win win for all parties involved.

Well yeah you're right but at least Al Haymon didn't say no...
        It's a start at least...

Haymon doesn't work with other promoters for his top guys. He wants to keep them all on his networks just like all other top promoter. Main Events though is different. They don't have Barrera anymore and besides Chilemba haven't really had any other fighters for Kovalev and Top Rank has options on Kovalev so he is in the mix with Gvozdyk, Alvarez, Ramirez so they actually put him in a good place.

Time will tell if it opens doors to more fights between PBC and Top Rank,... I hope it does though,...

It certainly doesn't hurt but it wouldn't be a good look for Haymon to say no. It doesn't say he didn't try to talk them out of it either. Just like when Khan fought Canelo and then when he signed with Hearn, Haymon offered him counter proposals but at the end he couldn't stop him just like he couldn't stop Jessie Vargas or Beterbiev from going to DAZN or Alvarez in this case.

The way you can tell these deals aren't Haymon's first choice is you don't see Haymon picking up the phone to call Todd duBoef to do Loma-Garcia or Spence-Crawford. Instead of Garcia fighting Loma in a way more winnable fight he is facing Spence because Haymon wants to keep it in house. Haymon isn't actively soliciting these deals.

This deal happened because Top Rank called Michel and Haymon is powerless to stop it so smartly he says that he approved it.

Just don't hold your breath for that is all I'm saying. Neither side is willing to send one of their A-siders to the other side and all this dual PPV talk is laughable. You are going to do dual PPVs on a PPV that isn't going to do over a million buys? How does that even make sense?

Michel said Alvarez still is being advised by Al Haymon, long considered a rival to Top Rank and whose Premier Boxing Champions’ stable has three- and four-year deals with Showtime and FOX.

“Al Haymon is a friend, partner and I consulted with Al before moving forward [with the deal for Alvarez,]” said Michel of Alvarez, who trailed on all three cards before flooring Kovalev three times in the final round.

Al Haymon wants the best for his fighter, and he’s an advisor for me, and an advisor for Eleider. We looked at the offer we had, and we realized it was the best offer, and he [Haymon] gave us his blessing.”

Salute to Al Haymon! That's what's up! No lawsuits, no buyouts! Good Luck to Eleider Alvarez!
