Most humiliating defeats in boxing history?

Is this the most embarrassing moment in boxing history?

What are the top 5 most humiliating boxing defeats (doesn't have to be a knockout)

    My top picks
-Mike Tyson after he bit Evander Holyfield's ear and was fined $3 million. Looked like a sore loser although he is one of my fav boxers that was humiliating
-Anthony Mundine (Australian boxer) getting knocked out in 96 seconds after months of hype trash talk and build up
    - Wilson’s mother, 62-year-old Minna Wilson, couldn’t bear to witness her son taking a beating any longer so climbed into the ring and began beating McCarthy around the head with her shoe, triggering a riot.
-Everyone remembers this moment from Tyson Fury’s early days. During his fourth professional fight against Lee Swaby, the heavyweight contender became a bit overexcited. Not satisfied with his opponent’s performance, he started hitting himself to make the fight more of a challenge. (embarrassing for the opponent)

    WINNER
    The scaredy cat

Jerry “Harm’s Way” Hackney was never going to be a world champion. He lost every single one of his eight fights and had one of the most terrible nicknames in boxing history. As if losing all of his fights isn’t embarrassing enough, he performed amazingly badly against George “Da Butcher” Klinesmith.

In the fourth round, Hackney decides he has had enough of a beating so turns his ginger dreadlocks (always a great choice) and runs. He jumps on to the ropes, where Da Butcher “makes mincemeat outta him” by punching him into the crowd. Hackney claims he was “just jogging across the ring”.

The loser would have to be a star with some level of talent and the winner would have to be somewhat of an underdog.....

Douglas vs Tyson comes to mind. Baddest man on the planet crawling around for his mouthpiece after catching that 2 piece.

But......he did put Buster on the canvas. Definitely humiliating but not the most.

      JMM vs Pac 4 ???

Pac had too many moments. That ko was beyond epic, though.

A truly embarrassing defeat would have to be dominant and witnessed by the entire world.

      Foreman vs Frazier 1 ????

No one was talking trash (IIRC) and there was no whoopla.

Had Dana ko'd/tko'd Broner, it would be #1 (its very close, though).
      Had MAB ko'd/tko'd Hamed..........

      Hmmm....

Screw it. I'm going with Tyson vs Douglas.

        Maybe Tarver RJJ rematch

Shoutout for BHop and Pavlik, too

Garcia Khan was also supposed to be a showfight for Khan which was setting up a Mayweather showdown. Like the prior fight against Peterson...Amir screwed it up XD XD XD

It's not always the loss that matters, but the way the loss happened. A KO/KTFO for a mainstream star is very rare...what happened to Manny and RJJ was stunning. AB/Khan were more karma KO's and Pavlik was a pretty sizable favorite against (what at the time was considered) a near-retirement Bernard Hopkins who was probably overstepping his bounds and setting himself up to get hurt

Andrew "Six Heads" Lewis was ahead on all scorecards when he had to step out of his second fight with Denny Dalton to take a s.hit.

Nate Campbell when he got knocked out by Robbie Peden

Possibly Naseem Hamed. Pride coming before a fall and all that.

I'll go for McGregor v Mayweather. Massive money, huge hype, war of words and after all that it turned out that he couldn't box! Embarrassing all round.

Probably maidana broner. Will need to re watch that for the 6th time soon. Never gets old the look of panic in broners face early on when he realised he picked the wrong guy
