To all the idiots talking about karma, labouring under the misbelief that you actually understand the universe, this is random. What about Edward Gutnechkt? He was brain damaged for life against Groves, was that karma? He didn't have a criminal past, by all accounts he was a nice, normal, humble guy.
The scientific cold hard truth is that if the human head is hit hard repeatedly, like in a professional boxing match, brain damage can occur. It isn't arbitrary, it's just chance.
Adonis Stevenson took that risk every time he stepped in the ring, and unfortunately his luck ran out. None of the losers on this forum talking about karma would have the balls to do the same thing.

I really hate hearing this and I hate even more reading some of the comments. People who believe in Karma and yelling out Karma in the post....... are happy that someone is suffering and fighting for their lives, but don't realize that their actions/words may also result in Karma against themselves. We don't know his whole story. Maybe he had already suffered his Karma long ago and this is just something that happened. Maybe his upbringing is the reason why he chose or was forced into his past lifestyle. Regardless, we lose a bit of humanity when we began to celebrate someone's sufferings. And if you don't care for the individual, remember, he has a family who is also suffering too...... People broadcast other people's shortcomings, but behind closed doors, there's plenty of people, even on this message board who have some skeleton's in their closet and just haven't got caught yet. I'm not casting any stones. I just pray that he has a full recovering and if not, that he's done enough with his time here on earth to earn his wings.

Whenever there's a post about Tyson everyone is respectful and happy that he as turned his life around, but when it's Stevenson who wasn't even charged for **** all the hate comes out. Why ? Because he's not American and does not speak English well, because he hasn't fought the fights you wanted ? His victims have moved on long before anyone ever learned about the story and didn't need any false sympathy from strangers to do so. Stevenson worked to build a better life, i hope he gets to enjoy it.

Anyone on here know Adonis or his family to give us an update? There was an article online that said he woke up and talked to his family. But him being in a coma still is not good. Poor guy.
