what numbers exactly should we look at? irrelevant numbers for mayweather? or numbers for wilder, who has never sold out any arena, and who couldn't even sellout in the midst of hollywood millionaires?

Wilder fans were claiming Wilder-Fury was going to be in Vegas until it wasn't. Pulling out fantasy numbers for Wilder with nothing to back them up is ridiculous. Lewis was fighting American draws, fighters like Holyfield and Tyson who were 100x more known than Wilder. These comparisons are just insane.

Fury wilder would do simular ticket prices to against Klitschko and will risk not selling out.

Joshua wilder on the other hand will obviously increase prices and make a significant margin. The very cheapest tickets were £40 / $55 for Joshua klitschko but they were obviously the furthest away, ring side was several thousand. Against wilder for undisputed your probably looking at £60 minimum for the very cheapest, so. Average ticket price going to be closer to £150 or $190.

On tickets alone that would be $19 mil; but there is significantly more made from merchandise, food, etc.

It all depends how long he has to wait for the Fury rematch. However, if Fury waits too long and if Hearn and Joshua are ready to negotiate in good faith this time perhaps but I don't know. Wilder doesn't have faith in either one of them. I say he should fight Breazeale first as a tuneup and then wait on Fury for the rematch.
